Overview
ADVA was established in 2002 to provide services to help address the growing problem of domestic violence in Devon. KOR's brief is to help raise the general public's awareness of domestic violence and to help people understand the different kinds of abuse. KOR has come up with a strategy to inform and educate people about domestic violence and the services ADVA promotes through press releases, posters, leaflets and films. KOR has produced three films about the affects of domestic abuse on families. Two are being used for training purposes and the third is being shown to social care professionals, police and members of the Criminal Justice system.
