KOR was commissioned to provide communications support for the opening of the new £4 million East Devon Crematorium, which was built near Exeter to serve the growing population of East Devon and West Dorset.
As it prepared to open its doors to the public, we publicised the new facility among the religious and non-religious community. A strategic communications plan was also developed to let people know about the new building and why it was opening. These included stakeholders, funeral directors, priests and the public.
KOR also planned and managed the opening event for the crematorium, as well as a separate reception for the local press.
