Clinton Devon Estates commissioned KOR to prepare and implement a public consultation on plans to build 264 new homes at Plumb Park on the edge of Exmouth, a Joint Venture Partnership between Taylor Wimpey and the Estate.
KOR has been providing strategic communications support to all aspects of Clinton Devon Estates business interests since 2008. This has included a number of planning consultations and prospective developments.
Plumb Park was to be a legacy project which aimed to create an inspirational place for people to enjoy their homes. Engaging local residents and stakeholders was essential to its success. KOR worked to ensure the key benefits of the scheme came across in every communication. We organised and ran the public consultation, developed a project website, gathered all feedback and liaised with media throughout, with proactive activity. KOR liaised with homebuilder Taylor Wimpey to manage all media interest on behalf of The Estate. Planning consent was granted in 2015 and the first homeowners moved in in 2018.
KOR has also led on a number of other public consultation projects for The Estate, including the Horizon development of 48 homes in the seaside town of Budleigh Salterton, which went on to win the national What House? Award for Best Partnership Project.
