Community Consultation

The level of community consultation required on developments across the country depends on a lot of factors, not least where your project is based. Each local planning authority will have its own regulations, in addition to those set out in the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and elsewhere.

For some projects, community consultation is embedded in legislation, while in others, local regulations come into play.

Otherwise perfectly good planning applications have been known to be refused because the level of consultation has been deemed inadequate by the Local Planning Authority. KOR has conducted successful consultations and prepared statements of community involvement for new homes, hotels, educational establishments, major infrastructure projects, and more.
